12th

I rode to Minto Crags and captured footage of Fatlips Tower.

The exercise was enjoyable; it was a pleasant day.

11th

Okay, so today I flew my drone over Woodburn farmhouse.

Aerial view of a rural landscape, featuring houses, a dirt road, fields, trees, and a stream. The green fields are bordered by stone walls. There is a house on the left side of the image with a blue car parked next to it. A dirt road runs through the center of the image, leading to other houses in the distance. A stream flows along the right side, bordered by trees.
Rural landscape under a cloudy sky. In the foreground, there's a stone wall alongside a grassy hill. Beyond this, a small cluster of buildings, including a white house, a greenhouse, and a barn, are nestled amidst trees. The background features rolling hills extending into the distance under the overcast sky.
White farmhouse nestled amidst green, rolling hills under a cloudy sky. The house is a focal point, with a stone wall partially surrounding it and a dirt driveway leading up to it. Several vehicles are parked near the house. To the sides and in the foreground, there are bare trees without leaves, indicative of either late autumn or early spring. In the background, the landscape extends into the distance with a mix of fields, some wooded areas, and a ridge of trees lining the top of a hill.
Aerial view of a rural farmhouse surrounded by patchwork green fields, stone walls, and muddy tracks. Weathered white buildings with mossy roofs sit beside sheds, tractors, and parked vehicles. Fences, water tanks, and footpaths reveal an active working farm within a quiet countryside landscape under overcast skies and rolling hills.

Some pictures from the movie I made today.

Aerial view of a quiet suburban neighborhood at dusk, rows of modest houses with tiled roofs lining curving streets. Warm lights glow through windows, gardens and fences define plots, parked cars fill a small lot, and wooded hills frame the settlement beneath a calm blue evening sky, overhead perspective tranquil.

I landed my drone and called it a day upon my return to Ancrum at dusk.

I am perplexed as to why an individual would wish to relocate from Roberton to Ancrum. I asked a guy I met in the Cross Keys if he had encountered the Hot Fuzz mentality, and he nodded, but he seemed perplexed when he told me that he had recently moved to Ancrum. I occasionally pass by Ancrum's football field while travelling south on the A68 and reflect on the village green's obstruction between far-reaching goal posts; a partitioning fixture that is both permanent and, as they say, detachable. By expecting too much of their kids, parents instil narcissism in them. They attacked me on social media, making a sociopathic claim that everyone is interested in the village green goal posts, as though I didn't exist.

9th

Discovered my BT Hub 2 configuration panel remotely accessible via static IP: 159.180.116.191; with a dozen "Watch" devices registered as networked.

Jedburgh Abbey and Jedburgh Jail house.

I was transported to Jedburgh by Charlie to retrieve a new kettle. Prior to my return to Ancrum, I captured drone footage of the abbey and jail.

8th

I was able to catch up on my sleep in the morning. It's nice outside, and I'm tempted to film, but the light is too bright, and the winds are 18 mph, which will annoy my drone. I endured the wind in a field adjacent to the River Ale to capture a barrage of poison arrows over Ancrum; however, I observed stones rain down; lamentable ostracismo, viva la droga.

Also took a picture of a swollen River Ale.

I walked back to my house with my neighbour, who verified that Ancrum had posted horrible things about me on Facebook. I considered making confrontation shorts, however, I am not interested in being associated with individuals of that nature; Nazis employ gaslighting to incite irrational fears in others. The more you tolerate prejudice, the more intolerant of you prejudicial people will be, and most often will continue to justify their actions until an injustice is committed.

7th

Today, I attended a warm, charismatic service at Teviothead Church and was delighted by the ministers' singing.

After Charlie got home from work, we picked up a free Christmas tree. I enjoy Teviothead, most so the Sunday morning service.

6th

Charlie and I were in Langholm to capture the frolics during the Christmas light switch-on.

Not methods to get around the conscious mind by surprise or confusion, but simple enjoyment for both children and adults.

Took a year for the local Freemasons to finish this magnificent obelisk in Sir John Malcolm's honour.

5th

I used an aerial photo of Woodburn as this month's header image and took my drone for its first flight.

From Woodburn bridge I walked by Borthwick Brae, then to Burnfort graveyard.

I entered the snoot field and using my drone I captured a few images of the reconstructed church.

Following that, I took pictures of Roberton.

And went back to Woodburn via Parkhill and Chisholme.

Take me home, country roads

I have been fortunate enough to live in the Borthwick Valley, which I adore.

4th

Waiting in all day for a delivery, a DJI Neo 2 drone.

Lots of interesting shots for my YouTube channel.

3rd

Whilst Charlie was at work I took the bus to Melrose to film the Trimontium musuem, Melrose Abbey and the Commendators house. Returning to Ancrum I was approached, from the other side of the bus, by a young woman stating she was fifteen before alleging that I was taking photographs of her. I was seated at the front of the bus, on a side seat almost facing the driver, whilst she was one row from the rears seats, at the back of the bus, with a dozen people and seats in-between us. When I got on the bus, I seated myself opposite the driver, I did not approached her, she came over to me. I felt as though I were being deliberately smeared before the entire bus, as this character assassinatng incident was being filmed on mobile phones by her and her friend. If I had taken a picture, in this public place only her face would have been visible, from at least 30 feet away. Ajar as to why I'd take a picture of her, I inquired if she was mad then assumed her phobic; maybe she hadn't had enough attention that day. The event, though, was quite unsettling, after such a nice day filming at Melrose.

I had not travelled on public transportation in months, and this was the first time I had done so. The brief number 68 bus ride to Melrose proceeded without incident. At the Trimontium Museum, an elderly man delivered a fifteen-minute presentation to my camera. While some may consider the eight-pound admission fee to be exorbitant, this contemporary museum is well worth the investment.
